Purpose of Student Societies:

The advantage of attending the student community is the effect that it will have on your social life. You’re going to meet people who share a passion with you, and you’re going to expand your social network beyond your curriculum and the individuals you’re interacting with. However, there are also real gains in terms of your employability – the skills, qualities and knowledge you offer to prospective employers, which suggest that you will successfully adapt to life as a graduate in the workplace.

General V/S Professional Societies

The societies which are responsible for non technical events e.g musical concerts,tourism,or for the welfare of people which includes empowering needy people or literary society are emerged as a General society.

While

The societies which organize technical events related to their respective field or area of study are known as Professional Societies.

SEE:

We are a team of passionate environmental engineers whose goal is to improve everyone’s technical knowledge through providing them a platform like SEE. Where they can express and access themselves and think beyond.

Basically it is society of environmental engineering department.Environmental engineering is a professional engineering discipline based on broad scientific topics such as chemistry, biology, ecology, geology, hydrology, hydrology, microbiology and mathematics to create technologies that will preserve and improve the health of living organisms and improve the quality of the climate.

The working phenomena is team work. The whole society is divided into 4 hierarchical orders on the basis of experience named

• Senior Executives

• General Members

Further these are divided into skills i.e photography,documentation,management and promotion.All guys are working with zeal & zest.All members are working with the collaboration of Cabinet.
